How to start

Install the free WordPress plugin and select Cloud Free as the audio provider. No registration, payment card, or API key.

Choose a monthly or annual plan, then select Cloud PRO in WordPress, or use a dashboard project's public site key for JavaScript or React. Lifetime licenses do not include Cloud PRO characters.

Character counting

Characters are deducted only after a new audio file is generated successfully. Playing audio already cached by WordPress does not use the allowance again.

Standard voice generation counts characters at 1×. Studio and Expressive generation count at 2×, so 1,000 source characters use 2,000 Cloud PRO characters.

When a shorter limit is reached, generation pauses until that window resets, even when monthly characters remain. Allowance is paced across the month, so availability can be lower in early windows.

No. Cloud Free works only inside the WordPress plugin. For the JavaScript or React/NPM libraries, use Cloud PRO with the public site key of a dashboard project.

To keep going without waiting, use your own API key: in the WordPress plugin, switch the audio provider to OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google, Amazon, or Azure, and in the JavaScript or React/NPM library, connect your own text to speech API. Your provider then bills you directly instead of using Reinvent WP Cloud characters.
